Virtual Hand Raise

Dear Boys and Girls,

I'm looking forward to seeing you  on Friday at our Google Meet.   I am so proud of you all.   It is so nice to see the progress that many of you have made on your  I-Ready assignments in Reading, Math and, now, Social Studies!   When you log in please be sure to complete the TEACHER ASSIGNMENTS in BOTH reading and math FIRST.    When assigned, don't forget to complete  Readworks.   I enjoy reading your short responses using evidence and details from what you have read.    We will continue Math lessons on Think Central.  Remember that the  instructions for logging in are on this webpage.  It's important that you remember to answer every question and turn it in after every personal math trainer.

Remember, even though I am not there with you, I am able to see what you have completed, how many assignments you have in progress, how many assignments you have completed, and how many minutes/hours you have been working.

If you are having difficulty with any of your work, please email me.  I check my email many times a day and would love to hear from you.

I'm looking forward to seeing you again on Friday!!

Much Love,

Mrs. Lester

Keeping in Touch

It is always so nice speaking with you all and hearing about your time away from school.  Remember that our "Google Meet" will be every  Friday at 12:00.  I am looking forward to seeing those smiling faces again.  I will post the link in Google Classroom on Friday morning.   Have your child continue to practice using their email accounts by sending their writing to me.  Again, I just want you to know how much I appreciate all of your support during this time.   It continues to be obvious that you are all making the best of these unusual circumstances.  Your child is lucky to have you on their team!

Please remember that you can always get in touch with me through my email - nlester@islandparkschools.org or nlester@iploms.org - I check it several times throughout the day.

Stay safe & healthy!
